Mike Zunic (he/Him) is a WGA Award-winning LGBTQ+ screenwriter best known for his work on FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, where he wrote and produced two Emmy-nominated short-form series, Flight 462 and Passage — both of which were also nominated for WGA Awards, with Passage earning him the win for Outstanding Writing in New Media. Mike became a staff writer during FTWD's third season after co-writing the mid-season premiere, and he also scripted the show's interactive second-screen experience, which was nominated by the Television Academy for Creative Achievement in Multiplatform Storytelling. His work spans podcasts, documentaries, branded content, and national commercials, including PlayStation’s 2014 holiday campaign. His original pilots have placed as finalists in the Rideback TV Incubator and Sundance Episodic Lab. A graduate of the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC and Duke University, Mike was born and raised in New York’s Hudson Valley.
