From Houston, Texas, Barbara is a queer TV drama writer who was most recently a Story Editor on ABC's Station 19. She also wrote the Grey's Anatomy: B-Team short form series, which was nominated for an Emmy, and she directed season one of the We're Fine web series. Barbara is on the steering committee for the Think Tank for Inclusion and Equity and is currently a lecturer at the University of Texas, her alma mater. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with the LA LGBT Center and playing and coaching soccer.
