Yilong Liu (he/him) is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter based in New York. His play The Book of Mountains and Seas received the Lambda Literary Award for Drama and the BBC Popcorn Writing Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His play Good Enemy premiered Off-Broadway at Minetta Lane Theater, and its audio release was named one of Audible's Best Theater Listens. He is a graduate of The Juilliard School's Playwriting Program and is currently under commission from Manhattan Theatre Club. His work has been developed or produced with PlayCo, New York Theatre Workshop, Alliance Theatre, and others, with international productions in China, Spain, and South Korea. For screen, Yilong wrote the feature adaptation of Fortunate Sons for Academy Award-winning producer Donna Gigliotti, and his original pilot EVERYTHING I LEARNED IN AMERICA, I LEARNED ON GRINDR was selected for The Orchard Project's Episodic Lab. He is a member of the Writers Guild of America.
