Just as he’s starting testosterone, a 23-year-old trans man is forced to adopt his 13-year-old brother and raise him in the heart of queer Brooklyn. In a microculture where everyone’s an activist-creator and nobody’s just straight, the two brothers have to figure out how to shave, why they’re so sweaty, and what it means to be a man.

V Marks (they/he) grew up in Brooklyn, where they failed as a child actor for being too tall and weird-looking but thrived in a feminist theater group, performing at prestigious places like the United Nations and Gloria Steinem’s birthday party. After graduating from USC's Screenwriting program, V went on to earn the Humanitas College Comedy Award, the Yes And Laughter Lab Fellowship, and the New Voices Fellowship. They're currently an assistant to Joey Soloway (Emmy-winning creator of TRANSPARENT), but V also used to work as an OnlyFans chatter, so if you thought you were talking to redacted Real Housewife on OnlyFans from 2024-2025, you were actually talking to V. Sorry!
